Christopher Todd Communities Moves Corporate Office to Mesa

Mesa, Ariz. (December, 2018) — To support dynamic company growth, Christopher Todd Communities has relocated its corporate office to Mesa, from Phoenix. Located in the iconic class A Mesa Towers (formerly Mesa Financial Plaza) on Alma School Road just north of the US 60, the new office gives the company room to expand its development of innovative single-family home gated rental communities both in Arizona and beyond.

The concept is a new real estate segment that is resonating with the market because it is a hybrid of luxury apartment living and single-story, single-family smart homes, offering privacy, backyards and community amenities. The company has two such communities open, in Surprise and Tolleson, with three more opening in 2019: in Surprise, near Litchfield Park and in West Phoenix. More communities are in the pipeline.

The company’s new address is 1201 South Alma School Road, #12400 Mesa, AZ 85219.

Moving his office to Mesa is a coming home, of sorts. In his prior career, CEO Wood founded and later sold Alpine Valley Bakery in Mesa. He started the business in 1995 with his family as a store-front bakery and grew it into a multi-million enterprise with 100,000 square-feet of manufacturing space in central Mesa where they baked tens of thousands of loaves of bread daily. The company provided organic and whole grain bread to grocery stores, Sprouts, Costco and Sam’s Clubs nationwide.

He sold the Alpine Valley Bakery in 2015 and then launched Christopher Todd Communities shortly thereafter. An astute business entrepreneur, Wood identified the potential of organic breads before they were mainstream and he’s doing the same thing with rental housing. He watched the trends and predicted America would desire a new way to live with luxury rentals delivered via single-family home planned gated communities.
